Wednesday Wish List

Wednesday Wish List!

Having a wish list is a trick I learned form my sister-in-law; a list of all the things that inspire me, goals I want to achieve, and things I dream about. Or lets be honest, things I want to run out and buy!  Making lists are my number one go to for keeping on top of life.  So here is this weeks ‘Wednesday Wish List’, a little bit of inspiration straight to your in box!

I have an old 1960’s teak coffee table that has been in my family since I was a child and I am going to use it as my new desk.  Taller legs of course!  Now that my masters is finished (results were out yesterday and I passed!!), its time to revamp my work space and spruce up my desk accessories!  Here are a few accessories that caught my eye…

  1. Happiness Planner – I am going to give this a try!  For the past year, my diary has been a balancing act of home, work and study.  I fancy a diary/journal that has a ‘me’ focus and always a positive vibe.  It will look super pretty too!

2. Curiosity Desk Pad – I am a scribbler, that is, I have a very bad habit of writing ideas or notes on the corners of pages or Postits.  I love the idea of a desk pad, so I can corral my scribbles to once piece of paper. (Apologies for the poor photo quality)

3. There are lots of rose gold accessories out there and I think they will look fab on the teak desk.  There are scissors, and there are Rose Gold Crane Scissors  form Anthropologie!

4. I was looking for some inspiration and of course Pinterest provided me with tons of ideas.  I love the colours and accessories in this work space (minus the antlers). This desk is a great example of an Ikea hack, and I am hoping to create something similar.  A priority is for all my paper work to be hidden.  Having spent the last year surrounded by books, I am tired of clutter and want a clear, refreshing and positive work space.
